"Cashing in on Green Business"
This article featured Greenworks’ extensive role at the newly renovated Clifton Hotel, the first green hotel renovation on Miami Beach. Greenworks supplied a wide range of fixtures and furniture in common areas and guest rooms at the Clifton, including the bar, bathroom vanities, desks, wardrobes, bed systems, night tables and more. Most of these items were fabricated with Plyboo® bamboo plywood, which helped conserve forest resources and improve indoor air quality at the hotel—all while providing the chic and sophisticated look that South Beach is known for. The Clifton Hotel is seeking LEED Platinum certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s green building rating system. These products will help earn credits in the Materials & Resources and Indoor Environmental Quality categories of the LEED framework. Learn more about the Clifton Hotel

Greenworks Launches New and Improved Website
The Greenworks Cabinetry team is pleased to announce that we have launched a new and improved website to better serve our customers and partners. The new website showcases our extensive portfolio of sustainable products, including green cabinet and closet systems, bath furniture, custom millwork and countertops. The website also features a number of educational resources for the general public and the architect and designer community, including a Dealer Locator, Glossary, “Why Green?” section and an explanation of how our products help earn credits under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED™ rating system.
We are also in the process of developing a Project Gallery so you can see some of the high profile projects we have been involved with, including the Clifton Hotel and various Starbucks locations throughout Florida. Special thanks goes out to our web designers, Zixoda for their valued assistance in connection with the new website.
